Huge forest fires are a threat to Antalya region, including the ancient Aspendos theatre.

The fire is increasing! Already 4000 hectare is destroyed. Many people were forged to evacuate but happily there are no injured.
Fire departments said ´it is difficult to stop this fire, but we are doing the best we can´.

Another video (the comment is in Dutch but the video speaks for itself). Comment in short: another four villages are threathened, more than 1000 fireworkers try to make it not increase and more than 600 people needed to leave their houses.

Thank you Trudy, it looks like it´s a serious fire. It´s weird that I went to the site of "Hürriyet" to get the latest news, but they give it just in a small corner in the bottom among other "unimportant news" like the cellulits of a celebrity.

Well, it´s really ´hot´ news here, in every newspaper and the television news. Maybe because so many Dutch go to that region? I truly hope they can extinguish the fire soon before the many historical sites, more villages are in real danger!

Because of the fire, one person died today, according to Dutch news. Fireworkers claim now they control the fire though extinguishing it seems difficult due to the wind force.
