Russian tourists spoil with their antisocial behaviour the holidays of Germans tourists in Turkey, especially in Antalya region.

The excessive eating and drinking behaviour of the Russians make the Germans furious, according to newspaper Bild. But worse than vodka bacchanals are the Russian prostitutes (the Natasha´s) who come to the holiday hotels to earn money. Several German tourists changed their hotels because they got sick of the nuisance.

For the first time there are more Russians than Germans in Turkey. For Turkeys economy Russians are not that bad: they don´t come empty handed. Russians spent about eight times more many than Germans do.

We had a tour guide in Oludeniz who was married to a Russian girl and he told us that the Russians are tight fisted and alway book the all inclusive hotels, and then don´t spend any more!

Makes a change to hear of another nationality becoming a nusiance on holiday, other than "Brits Abroad" lol

Oh and I just remembered the Russians paragliding at night and the Turkish paragliders were having nightmares in case they killed themselves. They paraglided with torches.

You can always recognize the Russians in Demre-they wear very tight white shorts and no underwear.

Their behaviour leads much to be desired, they were out of control when I witnessed them pushing and shoving at Ataturk´s passport control.

Haha İ can only nod to what you all are saying. Where we live everyone are sick of the Russians. They are filthy rude and just generally gross, not to mention very easy. Not to generelize but İ am yet to meet an exception...
But İ think the source is wrong about Russians spending money in Turkey, İ have seen them barge for something as meaningless as oranges, not everything costs 1$ Also once İ read in the newspaper that a Russian tourist had drunken at least 30 beers every day because it was free, so that on the last day of his holiday he was sent to the hospital because his stomach coundn´t take it.

My parent´s apartment are just across from an all-inclusive hotel loaded with Russians and the music can be heard in every corner of the mahalle when it´s ´animation time´ My father is considdering bringing a sling shot (or something a little heavier haha) to shoot their stereo. The hotel has been egged a number of times already

The New York Times reports about a water aerobics class at a hotel in Antalya, Turkey, built for Russian tourists to resemble the Kremlin and St. Basil’s Cathedral

The Kremlin in Antalya

The biggest struggle now for the Turkish hotels is to find enough staff members who speak Russian. Those in the tourism industry who had mastered German and English are returning to language school. “Everybody is studying Russian now,” said Suat Esenli, a worker at the Kremlin Palace Hotel, which has more than 800 rooms and opened in 2003, just as Russian tourism began to soar. Typically, about 60 percent of the hotel’s patrons are from the former Soviet Union, with the rest from elsewhere in Europe. Still, the effort to make Russian guests feel comfortable can go too far. For a time, one of the hotel restaurants served the sort of dishes — borscht, blinis and the like — that should have brought joy to a Russian’s heart. The restaurant had to scrap the menu. It turned out that the last thing that the Russians wanted was the food they could get at home.
