i have a question but i know its a little stupid but im still a beginner

why did we say :Ankara´yı??

i know the y is a buffer litter but why the ı,is it from the noun state -e but changed coz of vowel harmony??? if so, then why didnt it change to a to be Ankara´ya??

When the suffix -i is added to a noun, it changes it to a direct object, & y a fusion consonant

between the a & ý.

This is a different noun state. It´s called accusative case.

-e dative

-de locative

-den ablative

-i accusative

Also, there is a mistake in tjis sentence: 

Sen Ankara´yı seviyor musun?

doudi94, unless a noun is the subject of a sentence, there´s 99% chances it will take some ending.

In this case, I think the verb "sevmek" requires an accusative ending (-i).

sen (you) --> seni        : seni seviyorum.
Ankara  --> Ankara´yı   : Ankara´yı seviyorum.

süt (milk) --> sütü        : sütü seviyorum.

I think I understand your question.

Actually the accusative form in Turkish can be:

1. indefinete

öğretmen gördüm - I saw a teacher

Bir kitap aldım. - I bought a book.

2. definete

öğretmeni gördüm - I saw the teacher

Kitabı aldım. - I bought the book.

But Ankara is a definete thing that´s why Ankara´yı seviyorum.
