Sea Taxi is a new kind of transportation in Istanbul which will be operating 24 hours a day beginning from September 2008.

Istanbulites can board on sea taxies at 27 points along the Bosphorus as well as from Princes’ Islands and some ports on the Asian side. The capacity is maximum 10 people and the fee can be either paid in cash or with credit card. Daytime and night rates vary.

The clients will dial the call center (212) 444 4 436 and leave their names and the route. The call center will give the reservation and taxi numbers. Upon the submission of this info to the sea taxi at the pier, the clients can board on to begin a speedy and comfortable transportation.
