Yeşilköy lighthouse, established in 1856, is celebrating its 151st year. The first lighthouse in the Bosporus, at the gates of the Marmara Sea, it safeguards seamen, keeping them from crashing into land with its light and sound.

  Fener has been serving its diverse menu in the lighthouse for 15 years and accords itself well with the history of the building. Located in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood, the restaurant is surrounded by hotels, which obstruct the view on one side of the building. Nevertheless, the food is good, the service is friendly and the atmosphere completes the dinner.
