Quoting Roswitha

si++ thanks for sharing your music about Fidayda. Kindly let me know what the song is about. Thanks.

About a love. I don´t know what "Fidayda" means exactly but here are the lyrics with some part of it translated.

Fidayda

Aman bulguru kaynatırlar
Kuzum bulguru kaynatırlar
Serinde yaylatırlar
Aman serinde yaylatırlar
Aman bizde adet böyledir
Kuzum bizde adet böyledir (It´a our tradition here)
Gzüeli ağlatırlar (that we make the beautyful cry)
Aman çirkini söyletirler (and that we make the ugly talk)
Fidayda da Ankaralım fidayda ("Fidayda" my "Ankaralı" "Fidayda")
Beş yüz Altın yedirdim bir ayda (I spent five hundred gold (coins) in a month)
Gitti de gelmedi ne fayda (And it was no use for me)
Başını da yesin bu sevda (Seems like this love will make me finish off (financially))
Aman dama çıkma baş açık
Haydi dama çıkma baş açık
Arpalar kara kılçık
Aman Arpalar kara kılçık
Aman eğer gönlün var ise
Haydi eğer gönlün var ise
Al bohçanı yola çık
Aman al bohçanı yola çık
Fidayda da Ankaralım fidayda
Beş yüz Altın yedirdim bir ayda
Gitti de gelmedi ne fayda
Başını da yesin bu sevda
