SEVGİLİ GENÇLİK
 

Öyle parçalandım ki ömrümde segiyle öfke arasında
Sevgimi öfke vurdu
Öfkemi sevgi kaçırdı
İçim parçalandı arada

Bir de bigün baktım gökyüzüne, bir bayram gecesi
Bir kestane fişeği açmış yedi rengimden
Yağıyorum çocukların üstüne
---------------------------------
Dearest Youth

I have been torn between love and anger in my life such a way
My anger smashed my love
My love scared my anger off
And, my heart  was raptured in between

Then, I looked at the sky one day, on a bayram night
There was a fire work from seven colours of mine
I was raining on the kids.
