Electronic Cigarettes

Has anyone tried one yet?

A growing number of pubs are selling electronic cigarettes to get around the smoking ban, Newsbeat has discovered.

The new gadget is claimed to taste and feel just like the real thing, but it is legal to smoke indoors.

If you´re one of thousands of smokers made to shiver outside when you want a fag, it seems help is on its way.

More and more pub landlords are stocking up on electronic cigarettes to try to win back punters unhappy about having to go outside to light up.

"They contain liquid nicotine and when you inhale on them the end lights up.

That gives you a hit of liquid nicotine and then you breath out water vapour, which looks like smoke. "

Ohh, for a moment, I thought that it would be something healthy and I could give it a try.

My colleague tried it and she used to say "it works" but it lasted just one week..now she smokes even more but what she used was made in china and probably it was crap.. i expect they can make better one in UK.

Interesting concept..but I´m sure they will also find a reason to bann these in the future.  We have found concerning health issues while using electronic cigarettes the electrons that are released from the batteries are causing brain damage and were afraid people will die from second hand electron charges. {#lang_emotions_lol}{#lang_emotions_super_cool}

 The fact that they are just as addictive as normal cigarettes is what has been debated quite some in the Netherlands.

But to be honest, isnt nicotine harmless for your body? Isnt it only an addictive-material? In that case, who cares? If you get to be addicted to something that does absolutely no harm to your body at all, or to others.. whats the problem about it? I never understood that debate.

 1. Yes.

2. It is an empty claim! It does not taste or feel like the real thing whatsoever, it is exactly as it says ´water vapour´.

I doubt this will be of great success among ´chain smokers´.
