Hello all,
I hope we are all well? been a while again since I last wrote but I am still very interested in this website. I thought I would give you an update on life so far in Istanbul for a British guy. I am now teaching English with a qualified English teacher in tow, I will very shortly start a TEFOL course but so far have the vast knowledge of my new friend and teacher Gill who I met in Istanbul some months ago.
I am searching for a job now as much as I was before but have not yet had any success unfortunately so I have still thought about the prospect of leaving Turkey before I finish my expected two years here. I would ideally prefer to not go down the teaching route but if there is nothing else suitable then I might just have to study harder and make an attempt at teaching. My wife is fine and we both enjoy married life from the first day we got married to the present, we have a little ´kedi´ now that I could never do without she is lovely six month old black and white female who I named ´Daisy Duke´ after a U.S. programme featuring Catherine Bach, you probably know the drama?
I am in the U.K. at the moment visiting family and friends and hopefully will get a ticket to watch my beloved football team, here´s hoping anyway hope all is well here and everyone take care
