Hi all!Why usually do you prefer south of Turkey?only for fun ? Turkey is very hot in this months and if you want to see green areas and feel cool weather I recommend north of Turkey..Especially Trabzon,Rize,Giresun and Artvin. But I know that you will prefer sun again

Well I prefer the sun, because basically in England we never see it much. Since I came back from Turkey last week it is as though the whole country is grey. Rain, cloud, grey people in grey clothes - Yuk! Feeling the hot sun on your skin makes you feel so alive and wonderful. i admit it was slightly too hot when I was in Icmeler, 40degrees one day, but when you are on holiday you can just dip in the pool or the sea to cool off, wear as few clothes as possible and be the envy of your friends when they see your tan when you come back.

I left Turkey, blue skies, green palm trees, colourful people and oleanders everywhere you look. Everything felt bright and happy. I arrived at Heathrow to rain and cold. It looked like winter and then as I said i was like everything and everybody was grey....yes I'm suffering from post-holiday depression, or more specifically missing Turkey depression.....

Come on, Lyndie... I'm preparing to go to my holiday, don't remind me what I have to expect when get back. Yes, I suffer from missing Turkey depression almost a year.
And why do I prefer south of Turkey?
Because "green areas and cool weather" I have at home.

Hi Bliss,

You have a beautiful mind, use it to combat mind over matter. I believe this can help most of the time.

Love and well being.

Hi Lyndie,

Yes, I agree with you it is abysmal living here with our grey climate.

I envied people living in South of England, because it is always a few degrees warmer than here in the North of England.

I live on the coast with the winds coming off the North Sea. I often feel I wished I were living somewhere warmer.

I feel happier in Turkey with the blue skies, penetrating heat and feel it gives our health an enormous boost. To be deflated when we come back to the chill and the rain.
