This is a free world is it not? And we are entitled to write what we like are we not? If someone wants an opinion that is ok too??

Sophie if you dont like "trivial" posts - then dont read them!

Quoting freshman:

Which is the best useful model of Nokia cell phone?

I have a 6111 - but that is a girly phone!! My other one was better, 7260 - a really smart black and red with silver numbers! My ring tone is Twister Nerve from Kill Bill, just in case anyone is interested lol

But arent different versions available in different countries?

I agree with you libralady some of the replies seem rather silly. I have used a Nokia 5110 for many years. My granddaughter refers to it as "the brick" due to its size and weight! It doesn't include a camera like some of the latest fashion accessories but it has served me well including phoning home from Türkiye.

To Libralady and Joey:

Yes, it's a free world. And anyone can post anything here. In the same way that I was free to post my objections about such threads, wasn't I?

I m a member here for quite sometime, I have posted 857 messages so far and those who have read them, know that I ve never been offensive to anybody. It's just not my style.
In this thread, apart from my posts, there were those of 3 more girls that agreed with me. But in what? Here is the question. Well, I m not going to say why I changed my usual polite way in this topic. And I also wont tell you what I have in common with those 3 girls. You seem clever enough to understand by urselves. If not, I would be happy to explain in a private message. But i guess i could give you a hint. We were all insulted by the author of this topic in the worst possible way. And we were never even close to him in any way (at least I wasn't).

So, as I don't like to hide behind word tricks, I can tell you straightly that my intention was to make this member so much uncomfortable (by revealing parts of the truth), that he would even consider of leaving TC. And thus I forgot my usually good manners

By the way, Libralady, I also used to have that smart black Nokia phone. I agree with you, it was a very good one.

Without going into details - I should just like to support Sophie (although she has eloquently and articulately spoken for herself - as always ) There of course was an underlying message to the author of the thread.. and quite justified too. It is easy to judge without knowing the facts and sometimes pm's are a better way of expressing. But it is a 'free country' and forums are for discussion - so hopefully nobody is offended by anything that is written here - certainly we are all entitled to our opinion on every subject.
