What's standard to have inside your refridgerator when you live in Türkiye?

And what should you have at home in case guests come to your place unexpected?

Do Turkish people shop almost daily (or a couple of times a week) for fresh vegetables? Or is it like here that you shop just like.. once a week.. and also buy frozen vegs?

We keep olives, cheese, eggs, tomato past, olive oil, butter, yoghurt, sucuk (some kinda bacon), sausages, meat and mince in the refr. We shop weekly for vegetables and fruits. If needed twice in a week.
For unexpected guests you can make a quick cake. Also most of us makes "mozaik cake" for freeze. you can prepare some pastry and deep freeze them, while guests are resting, u can cook them and serve hot, like borek with cheese. u have to store rice, sugar, flour, lentil, beans, baking powder, patotoes, onions, pasta, lots of spices for a proper turkish kitchen.

If a new person come to your home firstly you ask if he wants to drink Turkish coffee or not. Mostly they will say oh no dont be tired But you must be insistent. You have to ask 2 or 3 times. You have to say pls drink And after that little war. If he dont want to drink you must go to kitchen and make tea. You dont need to ask if he wants to drink or not. He have to drink it lol Then you must serve cologne.

In your home you must save alot of thing. Your kitchen will be as a storehouse. Rice, sugar, patetoes, onion, bulgur, all vegetables for one week, beans, chichpea, flour, salt, dry mint, dry thyme, black pepper, red peeper, actually all kind of peppers, salça (tomato sauce) , min two kind of oil, margarines, must be butter, olive, cheese, kinds of jams, eggs (min 30 egg lol ), cummin, lime, and kinds of spices oh lots of things i cant count anymore

And after tea you must serve fruit. If its winter how happy to you. Only apple and orange is enough. But i m sorry for you if its summer you must serve kinds of fruit. Watermelon, apple, pear, banana, grape etc etc.

Well, umutumut if ı become your guest do not be so insistant. That makes me upset and boredAlsa cologne is very nostalgic nowadays. Only in special events like religious fest we are using it.
After fruits, if the guest still stays serve some peanuts, phistaccios, almond, cashew, hazelnuts mixed in a tiny cups. If they still not leave, you better set their beds and reconsider your friendship with them
