There has been attempts by some malicious user today to use some hacker techniques to access user information. If you have been redirected to an external website (and possibly back to TC after that) without clicking an external link, please change your password as soon as possible.
The necessary precautions were taken to avoid this from happening again, we apologize for the inconvenience

We don´t know exactly who has hacked the site but it is possible that members accounts have been infected in some way. Admin´s post above explains that precautions have been taken but you are advised to change your account password and follow the advice that if you see any ´strange´ link to ignore it and report to mod/admin

We have the IP address and some basic information but we don´t know who exactly did it. We took the steps to make sure it won´t happen again, at least using the same methods. If you see a suspicious post with < or > characters in it please report to us.

i didnt send that post. unfortunately i cant login the site with this user name. alwyas giving me "password error".... i sent an email to admin but admin has not replied me yet... i want my old user name

thi is now interesting and intruiging.  we need our detective aenigma in here.
i thought making new accounts was disabled for a while.

Making new accounts is enabled again, modifying forum posts is disabled.
