thanks... you least my worries coz i thought getting visa is not easy i was so confuse, i inquire actually to the no. that you give me they say i just need to pass the passport my pic and letter of invitation came from my bf. then money. the bank statement is not needed to me all they need is a financial staement of my bf so that they know if my bf will carry me there.. thanks for all the info. i just wait my bf to come here so that i can start all the processing of getting visa. ooopsss maybe the 1500 us dollars is the fair or the planeticket. coz that the personnel said to me then he said stop over to dubai then after dubai ride to turkey..
exactly.... i´m not talking only about the visa, i was talking about the over-all expense in going to Turkey. It was easier last year to go to Turkey, but now they have changed the... hmmmm sort of President or something? because of some anomalies involved. Some people resigned, some people got fired... etc. They have become more strict regarding approval on Turkish Tourist visa. I wouldn´t know if i didn´t inquire and try as well.( I also have friends working there. ) So I´m pretty sure of what I´m talking about. Or when in doubt, you could always still inquire the embassy themselves. (But i doubt they will give you all the information that you would really need to hear.)

oh and by the way.... you would be spending around 1500-2000 us dollars, just to get a tourist visa to Turkey. But if you would be applying for work to Turkey, in order to get a work visa, the company that would hire you, will take care of everything. Visa, etc. And just to let you know, it is hard to find a job in Turkey, and find a company or agency that would take care of your visa. Trust me, i tried.
A little piece of advice. Don´t go to Turkey, unless he will pay for everything. And make sure you REALLY know your boyfriend. I thought i have known my ex for 2 years, but apparently i didn´t.
excuse! ms. know-all... i just read all the msgs in this forum and i think you dont know what you are posting.. or you are a liar? you are lucky the lady cecille is so educated that she just ignore your post msgs... whats this? can you read it? i even saw your chats awhile ago and it seems that you are insisting as if you know everything, anyway have you been in turkey? you said that you know a worker in embassy, so what happen there? im not here to argue with you, i was to correct with your inconsistent post regarding the payment for tourist visa fee you are telling. clearly you are saying here in your post that the tourist visa fee cost around 1500-2000 usd for visa tourist fee only??? did you compute that?? almost 100,000 pesos just for tourist visa fee??? i googled how much 1 dollar to peso..oh my god you should be careful with what you are posting. many can read it and the lady garie is asking for help not for a discouragement.

Instead of calling Justintime a liar, please post the information you have about tourist visa from Phillipines, if you know better.
I think the young lady who started the thread now has enough information to make her decision whether she should visit Turkey or not.

kookie... apparently you haven´t been reading carefully. I said OVER-ALL EXPENSE, INCLUDING PLANE TICKET AND POCKET MONEY. (i thought you read all my posts and chats?) you might want to read all over again, Turkish visa goes about 2000 pesos to 5000 pesos. And i said that plane ticket costs 1,500-2,000 US dollars. it even depends what season you go to Turkey. Obviously winter is cheaper, and summers are more expensive.
And if you have read ALL my chats, you would have noticed that i also adviced garie, to go the the embassy herself, if she really wants detailed information about visas, because obviously she would be getting different opinions from different people here. Im not here to debate about me being right, or being wrong as well, I´m giving information on what I know. If you think I´m wrong, then correct me. But apparently name-calling seems to be your thing. (For someone who doesn´t want to argue, your approach was very diplomatic. ) Don´t worry, I won´t stoop down to your level.
and just so everyone knows, 1 US dollar is equivalent to 47 pesos... to date. Might go higher. I know how to do math, thank you very much. And oh... thanks for making an account here in Turkishclass, just so you can respond to my posts. Welcome...

this is the proof on how inconsistent you are!
fyi, embassies have their own requirements who will they allow to enter their country and who are the qualified ones for them to allow and approve application.. whats this?!! oh you really know everything. anomalies? president? who´s president, what??? see? you always discourage the lady garie on many things, even for personal life.
