Quoting AlphaF

Many blue butterflies (thousands) observed to be swarming and flying above certain areas in Bosnia, led Bosnians to detect the hidden mass graves of Bosnians killed by the Serbs, during the recent troubles.

The blue  butterflies do appear to be a divine blessing to honor and mark the hidden mass graves of innocent civilian Bosnians massacred by the Serbs.

Really? That is amazing. Do you have a link? Animal perception is greatly underestimated, so it seems. You have heard of dogs in cancer detection, haven´t you?

Thank you AlphaF. I had not heard that story before. I wonder what it is that attracted the butterflies, how did they know to look there? Are the artemis flowers and blue butterflies known to have that ability?

I have an artist/medical illustrator  friend who went to document the mass graves.........so sad...so tragic.

In my youth I tended several graves of unknown soldiers in Germany.
