Infilak

Ben gidince hüzünler birakirim

Bu senin yasadigindir

Bir ev sikilir kadinlardaki

Bir adam sikilir kadinlardaki

Seni sevmek bu kadar mi

O benim yasadigimdir.

Bazan da bir yerde kuslar vardir

Ne uçmak, ne görünmek için

Bir karanfil pencereyi deler

Bir kapi kendiliginden kapanir

Istesek sevisirdik, ama olmadi

Biz degil yasayan acilardir.

Gitsem de her yerde biraz vardir

Hatirda zamansiz bir plak

Bir otel kapisi, biraz istasyon

Vardir o seninle birlikte olmak

Bulusur çok uzaktan ellerimiz

Ve nasil göz gözeyiz ansizin bir infilak.

 ( Edip Cansever)

Explosion

I leave blues behind when I go.

This is what you live with.

A house gets bored amongst women.

A man gets bored amongst women.

Is loving you this much?

This is what I live with.

Sometimes there are some birds some where.

They are for neither for flying, nor to be seen.

A carnation drills through a window.

A door gets shut by itself.

If we wanted, we would have made love, but did not happen.

Not us, They are our sorrows who breathe.

Even if I leave, it exists a bit every where.

An untimely record in memories,

A hotel door, a few train stations.

That, being together with you always exists.

Our hands meet from  far away,

And as if we are eyes to eyes, suddenly, an explosion.

My try (as usual)

Ok, so it is not gramatically correct but it makes sense to me, I can understand what he is saying here... I think he is unsure if he really loves her or not and he is living with that.  Peoms seldom make sense to everyone, it is personal, a personal feeling about a moment in time, and it is a personal expression of that moment.

Yes I love it too......
