Remembering Rachel Corrie

It´s 6 years ago today Rachel Corrie was was crushed to death by an Israeli military Caterpillar D9 bulldozer.
“I should at least mention that I am also discovering a degree of strength and of basic ability for humans to remain human in the direst of circumstances - which I also haven’t seen before. I think the word is dignity. I wish you could meet these people. Maybe, hopefully, someday you will.” from an email from Rachel to her mother

Very interesting link alameda. Thank you for the post.
But, I assume that the usual pundits on the board will disregard this post...
Her emails are touching and her courage shines through them.

at least we don´t harass her for her post, like you do for the posts you don´t appreciate.

I guess you couldn`t refrain from harrassing me as usual despite my positive post... (plus, why do you assume the role of being `the usual pundits`anyway... feeing guilty, I guess)
Are you in love or something... Go pick on some one else your own height & capacity... No need for your police work as there is no obscenity in this post.
at least we don´t harass her for her post, like you do for the posts you don´t appreciate.

there are hundreds and thousands of peace and human rights activists murdered (or literally beheaded) raped in muslim countries. but alameda doesnt see them, she refuses to see them. she sees this one only.

Rachel Corrie was one of the best of examples of real humanity. She displayed compassion and selflessness. She was articulate and dedicated. She talked the talk and she walked the walk.
I just wish more remembered her bravery, selflessness and her ultimate sacrifice.
