there is no such thing as "annelim gittim".

actually it doesn´t make any sense, so maybe it is mistyped and it could be maybe:

annemle gittim = I went with my mother (as Najathe suggested)

anneme gittim = I went to my mom´s place.

or something else...

Why are they using that -lim  suffixe??? (or -le + -im) Confused, the -im get stuck to the noun according to vowel harmony, if there is a vowel at the end we add just -m. Besides, it´s the first suffixe that sticks to the word, as much as the negative suffixe -me in constructing a verb. I love turkish because it´s so like math, just follow the rules, and you get the correct result/sentence. You smartass!

The suffix or word for with is "ile".

You can either use it as as separate word

annem ile (with my mother)

or as a suffix (which is probably more common)

anne + im + ile  = annemle (with my mother)

aile + im + ile = ailemle (with my family)

Hope that helps   Smile
