King of Thieves
By Alexandra L. FitzGerald
I stopped breathing,
And with a single syllable you made me fall.
Like ice cream for a child,
I melt all over you at the touch of your hands,
And at the radiance of your sun I start to drip away.
Granulated and hard to see through,
You have an impenetrable wall,
Harboring no visible deformities,
Always Breathtaking
Breath Leaving
Air Stealing.
Thief of hearts,
You stole mine and ran away,
Forgetting to give it all back.
A scared runaway on the back of train,
Handkerchief tied around a stick.
I kind of laughed when you said, 'I love you',
Knowing it all to be one of your Juvenile lies.
So you tried to make it real with
Kisses and Stitches that hold my seams in place.
One day they pulled apart and I was left without my Sewing kit.
Never Breathtaking
Breath Leaving
Air Stealing,
At least that's your simple way.

Light Of Love - Dorothy Parker
Joy stayed with me a night --
Young and free and fair --
And in the morning light
He left me there.
Then Sorrow came to stay,
And lay upon my breast
He walked with me in the day.
And knew me best.
I'll never be a bride,
Nor yet celibate,
So I'm living now with Pride --
A cold bedmate.
He must not hear nor see,
Nor could he forgive
That Sorrow still visits me
Each day I live.

Don't do this to me,
I want to learn Turkish, you sing to me like the mermaids who wished to lure jason to their watery depths, I will resis it, but, later

Walk Away
On London’s streets I walk
They’re dark and grey
The street lamp burns
I walk away
Leaving my sword behind
Maybe it’s for the best
The battles I had
Were dark for sure
You hurt me
But I hurt you worse
Holding unto my hope,
My compass
I walk away
To a place not so far
My hand broken at my side
I spread my wings
And try to fly
But I can’t
My wings are broken too
I can only walk
Away from you...

The Silent Tear
© By Kayla Minor
It comes at night when no one is watching.
It comes so soft, that it barely has a feeling.
When it comes, your heart is at ease.
And the only thing that is on your mind, is
Now the agony can finally.
Leave
As you gaze into the emptiness that fills the air.
A Droplet tends to fall.
While your memory races back to the time
When you thought you had it all.
You try to hold in what is deeply within your soul.
But the burning is so intense; that you just
Can't help but to let it go.
During the night a stain is made.
And at the same time all your pain is able to fade.
The only true feeling that you feel, is the wetness of
A drop that is left by a single tear.

If you said you were cold
I would wrap my arms around you
If you said you were thirsty
I would give you the ocean blue
I would give you anything
The moon, the stars, the sunset too
this heart in my hands that I
hold out to you
Take these from me
they are all I have to give
Take them my love for as
long as I live
I will love you till
the day I die
Don't look for reasons
or even question why
If you said you were lonely
I would be there at your side
If you said you were sad
I would wipe the tears you cried
I would give you anything
the moon, the stars, the sunset too
this heart in my hands
that I hold out to you
Take these from me
they are all I have to give
keep them my love
for as long as you live
