Freshman,
In England it is impossible for normal people to buy a house or flat without a mortgage. An apartment in London would cost £200,000 or 490819680000 Turkish Lira. you would have to be very rich to buy without a mortgage. You borrow the money to buy the house/apartment and pay it back usually over 25 years, you pay a lot of interest on this loan, but it is the only way, unless you win the lottery
lol lol lol

In usa it is reliable.howeever you pay lots of interest and taxes.for example if the house cost $500,000 you will be paying over a million dollars in 30 years.

In USA it is impossible to buy house or flat(as you say)without mortgage unless you are very rich, but reach people do not put their money in mortgage, they invest somwhere else. Right now market is very expensive even though interests are low.If you want to buy a house then you have to barrow money from banks, take a loan. And if the loan is approwed, you have to pay downpayment which is 3 to 10 percent(sometimes it is grater than that). You have to pay your loan in 15-30 years. Finally your house coasts you 3times more than your loan because of the interest you have to pay.Now rent in California is very high and people are interested in buying the house.
