Hello Everyone,

Hope we are all well? just an update on life for myself and my family as I never seem to visit much these days.

Our daughter Melissa turned six months last friday 11th December she is growing up fast, her operation should be sheduled for the last week in Feb 2010 (Melissa has a cleft of the soft palate) so we are both anxiously waiting for this to be over and she can then start her life to the full.  I am a full-time dad with a small income selling ladies shoes and the occassional english conversational classes, my wife retires in the summer of 2010 and we will go back to the U.K. for a few years although we will keep our apartment here in Istanbul to come back to for holidays and perhaps if we decided to come back.

I am still learning Turkish at a slower rate, it does not help if your wife speaks good English you become lazy.  We are just getting ready for our second christmas in Turkey and will have our family visit for the 25th Dec for dinner.

I am on Facebook alot more than T.C. class so anyone who uses this social network site I have posted more pictures of our daughter and my Turkish family.

Best wishes

Rich, Nes and Melissa
