Dear Poets and Writers!

The Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets in Armenia is planning publication of the book “Our First Element: Caucasian Water”. The book will include photographs by Caucasian photographers, old legends, water ritual and celebration stories, proverbs and quotes, contemporary poems and short stories.

Poets and writers from Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkey are invited to submit their poems/short stories/creative essays as a contribution to the creation of the book.

Your work can represent water in its any form, shape or condition. It can display the human relationship to water or refer to any water issue in the Caucasus region.

Best 20 works will be published in the book in Armenian and English languages.

Let your words be an urge and an inspiration to love and preserve our most important element – Water.

Please send your works until February 5th to: creative@fpwc.org
