I will travel for my first time to Turkiye and i am so scared, i have never travelled by plane!! Is there anyone here from Romania who has travelled recently to Turkiye??I need some more information about visa and how things are going at the border!(my bf will send me invitation, but im still afraid that something might happen..he says its so easy to enter Turkiye, but i dont know..:-S )

Maybe someone from here can tell me more about the papers i need, money, etc.
I really appreciate any help!!

You must call the Turkish embassy in your country or call the Romanian embassy in Türkiye to get answers. Becuase each country has its own rules about visa

If i go on holiday to Turkey (i'm from Holland), i can buy a visa at the airport for only 10 euros. But maybe this is not the procedure for Romania. And sometimes you must have the visa befóre you want to enter the country. Then they can send you back if your papers aren't allright before you get there. So better check out on it before you go It's probably easy yes.

And about the plane.. I don't like flying just because of the idea. But apart from that, it's just like you're sitting in a bus

Hi

No they didn't ask me to show money at the border, and if they did, i would have had only abouy 60 euros to show The rest, only 200 euros, i had on my bank-account and i took my bank-card with me, just in case. But i didn't need to use it as i was with Kadir.
I don't think they'll ask you to show your money. And you need to pay that 10 dollar cash and not more, if you give them a 20 dollar-paper, you will probably not get your money back!!

When I went to Turkey in February, I had to pay 10 euro for the visa. And don't worry about having to show them money - nobody will ask for it

One thing that i thought was pretty funny, i had to take off so many things. Jacket, sweater, my ipod, jewelry, my belt, even my boots! But they didn't ask a thing why the hell i was bringing a box full of cakes with whipped cream, tho usually ur not allowed to take dairy-things with you through custodies

Not your clothes, only your jacket. But you'll probably have to take off your shoes, so make sure your socks don't have a hole on!
