Great idea!

I had to Google to see what songs were from the 90s, using VHI Greatest Songs of the 90s, my personal choice would be:

(in the order they appear on VHI´s list)

-Smells Like Teen Spirit

Nirvana

- Losing my Religion

REM

- Jeremy

Pearl Jam

- Enter Sandman

Metallica

- Killing Me Softly With His Song

The Fugees

- Bitch

Meredith Brooks

other than that, there are so many metal and death metal bands I used to listen to in secondary school, that it would be impossible to list them all

I would "ditto" DD´s list (except metallica)...and add (in no paticular order)

  • Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
  • Closer - Nine Inch Nails
  • Push - Matchbox 20
  • You Oughtta Know - Alanis Morissette
  • The World I Know - Collective Soul
  • Linger - The Cranberries
  • Just a Girl - No Doubt
  • You´re Never There - Cake
  • Jann Arden - Insensitive
  • Wicked Game - Chris Isaak
  • What it Takes - Aerosmith
  • Waterfalls - TLC
  • Missing - Everything but the Girl
  • Stay - Lisa Loeb
  • Nothing Compares 2 U - Sinead O´Connor
  • Wonderwall - Oasis

And way too many more..........
