Merhaba,

I am currently working on a music project, and I am looking for musicians from the Elaziğ region of Turkey. My project is going to take place sometime in the spring/summer of 2011 in Paris, France. It will include: a concert of Turkish music (classical and folk music from the Elaziğ/Kovancilar region), a piece by Mozart that was influenced by the Turk mehter, and American traditional music from Kentucky.

I am posting in this forum to ask for help, if anyone knows of groups from the region that play folk/classical music it would be great if you could pass their information. I will be travelling there in the next few weeks to search for artists as well, so contact info would be greatly appreciated.

Çok teşekkür ederim, Adrienne
