I apologize if this has been mentioned before but I couldn´t find the thread if it has. New rules come into effect re. the renewing of Turkish visas after 90 days for those staying longer.  Very important! And not just for Brits: applies to all those who used to do a çıkış: i.e. US, Canadian, french, NZ, Aussies, German etc etc

It sounds like a measure for abuse of our visa rules by those who leave Turkey and re-enter on the same (or the following) day.

Just out of curiosity, if a foreign national has a house or a spouse in Turkey, do they need a visa anyway? Or do they apply for residency?

It doesn´t apply to the Germans actually. Turkey and Germany have different visa agreements
