İstanbul´da Sonbahar

Mevsim rüzgarları
Ne zaman eserse,
O zaman hatırlarım,
Çocukluk rüyalarım,
Şeytan uçurtmalarım,
Öper beni annem yanaklarımdan,
Güzel bir rüyada,
Sanki sevdiklerim hayattalarken hala...

Akşama doğru azalırsa yağmur,
Kız Kulesi ve Adalar...
Ah, burada olsan,
Çok güzel hala,
İstanbul´da sonbahar...

Her zaman kolay değil,
Sevmeden sevişmek,
Tanımak bir vucüdu,
Yavaşça öğrenmek,
Alışmak ve kaybetmek.
İstanbul bugün yorgun,
Üzgün ve yaşlanmış,
Biraz kilo almış,
Ağlamış yine,
Rimelleri akıyor.

My childhood dreams,
My devil-face kites,
My mum kisses my cheeks,
In a beautiful dream,
As if all my lovers are alive..

Maiden´s Tower and Princes´ Islands...

It is not always easy,
To make love without love,
To discover a body,
To learn it slowly,
To warm into and lose it,
Istanbul is tired today,
She is sad and old,
She put on weight,

Her mascara is running.
