i know an advantage for secretaries: everyone looks for a woman as a secretary because they want an assistant and also a cooker, a cleaner and someone who will make turkish tea... so, a man is not presentable for all that jobs in one way... hahahahahha

well ill give that one a miss then, but what you say is true , because men can only do one thing at a time ,and women have learnt to do many things at once, women have many faults, men have only two, everything they say, and everything they do

I guess I was looking for, do women hold high paying positions within companys. Like managers, directors & executive type positions.

Since I didn't get alot of response from this post, I am under the impression there are more disadvantages for foreign women. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes they are. But it depends on your experience, education and of course the sector you are aiming for. The more you are educated, the more experience you have, the more you can get paid, the more you can have fancy titles, the more you can have responsibilities.

My wife is an architect (Project Manager) in Turkey and the company she works for pays a very competitive salary. They even sent her to university to make a PhD (which means 2 days off to work ).

You are welcome teaschip

If I were you, I would search for international companies in Turkey.

I guess you are from England? For instance, is HSBC bank English? Maybe it can be a good starting point to begin with investigating job opportunities.

Best Luck,
Cheers!
