I always bring and brought just a few days ago, too, soft french cheese that are nonvacuumed and sausages without any problem from France to Turkey. Once I brought even 8 soft cheese.

And one month ago, my friend from Turkey brought me turkish sausages (vacuumed) and sucuk without any problem.

I didn´t have so many chance, then! {#emotions_dlg.sad} Because when traveling back from Paris, last July, they took my soft unvacumed french cheese away... I have already brought to my family french cheese several times before...

So...{#emotions_dlg.unsure}

From Paris to where? To Turkey?

And in your cabin bag or in your luggage?

It was not to Turkey, and it was in my cabine bag, (inside an ice bag) because I bought that at the very last moment. This may be the reason...Indeed.

The Custom took just "camembert" kind. I thought it may smell strong, but he smiled, and explained it was only for security purpose. Smile

this is luck

I don´t know if it is restricted for Turkey but it is definitely forbidden to bring meat and dairy products to EU, any kind and in any package, whether in your hang luggage or normal luggage.

http://ec.europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/allowed-banned/meat-dairy-animal/index_en.htm

but I will try bringing some to Turkey, anyway I am Turkish and I don´t think I will have huge problems

since meat is at least 2 times more expensive in Turkey, maybe I should also bring some meat

 Ofcourse, then it is normal. you cannot bring food or drink into the cabine.

No he left other kinds of cheese, the vacuumed ones, and also chocolate and sweets.

If you buy such things from free shop, then it´s not easy to register again with your luggage.Smile
