Hayko Cepkin - Sandık

Sandik açilsin dinlensin artik bu yürek,
Tas olup yagsamda hergün,
Nedir bilmez kalbim tasken kendine,
Dilden baslar terbiye,
Dil döker her kulun hatrina sade,
Yildizlardir hediyem,
Alir basini her gününü gör diye,
Çürüttünüz gömmeden ebedi,
Derde derman arar Dururum bu yürek biçare,
Her dogus bir bayram olur,
Her kayip bir yikiktir bir eziyet.

Hayko Cepkin - The Chest

May the chest be opened, may this heart rest from now on

Even I rain from the sky every day  becoming a stone

My heart doesn´t know what is what when it is stone  itself

Education starts from the tongue

It sweet-talks only for the sake of every believer

My gift is stars

They will go away for you to see  every day

You rotted me eternally  before burying

I always search for a remedy for my sorrows; this heart is desperate.

Every birth  is a festival

Every loss is a ruin, a torture.

Note: corrections needed

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWP8b02Lj0g  I can listen this song 100 times every day.

Hello gokuyum

Please see the changes I have made to this song which I hope you will be happy with - this is not an attempt at translation.

I have just removed some words that are not needed in this English version, replaced one word with another and amended the word ´lost´ with the correct word ´loss´.

Yes, the song is very sad but beautiful. I also listened to it on youtube. It was interesting hearing the sound of the words as I have only just started to try to learn Turkish
