Do turkish men keep their promises...or just make them and fail to follow through. im experiencing something which Im not sure how to deal with or take. Should i take things in an optomistic way or realistic...

Hello SparkleGirl,
It's too generalizing to fund a meaning about all Turkish men, whether they keep their promise or not. Each case is a specific one if it comes to love. If you could be a bit more specific about what happened, we can try to give you our opinion and you could take them in consideration.
Always take things realistic, but don't be too pessimistic about them. Because that's probably not realistic either!

İnsan heryerde insandır, iyisi de kötüsü de olması gayet doğal. If you say that Turkish men dont keep, it will be an injustice... Sure there is someone who doesnt keep his promise, but this is not general.
