Quoting erdinc: Burada nerede bulabilirim? |
Does that not mean Where might I find some here? which seems a bit different to nearby.

Both my dictionary and the TC dictionary list yakında as meaning "nearby". Although my dictionary also lists yakınlarda (unlike TC dictionary!).
When is yakında used?

When is yakında used? |
I think it's similar to the difference between like "burada - here" and "buralarda - hereabouts, around here, in this neighbourhood"
Yakında is more specific than yakınlarda.
