Merhaba,

There are two sentences in the homework entitled "Kotu bir gun" (Beginners 3) which I do not completely understand. The word that is causing my problem is highlighted in each sentence:

1. Ali sabah uyaninca kahvalti yapmak istedi. (I assume this is a form of uyanmak but I can´t figure out which one).

2. Aksam olunca isten cikti. (Is this from olunmak?).

Tesekkur ederim,

 -ınca,-ince, -unca, ünce ---> when

FORMULA IS ;

Verb stem + [-ınca,-ince, -unca, ünce  ]

Ali uyanınca ---> when Ali gets up

uyanmak = to get up

uyan = stem of the verb
