What is Mastika?

i was wondering what does the word "mastika" in  turkish mean?

It means " Rakı flavored with mastic " , it is Greek origin word.

There is also a well known song called  "Mastika mastika"

thanks, so i figure its the same thing as in greek - an alcoholic drink of same type, obviously mastika is not a turkish drink
