Most of you are probably familiar with LEVI´s jeans. You may not be aware that this company uses harmful chemical products in certain manufacturing processes.

GREENPEACE is combatting companies with similar production methods and beneficial agreements have been extracted from some of these companies already, thanks to a very wide public support. ZARA was the last company who had to agree to give up her dirty habits.

http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en/campaigns/toxics/water/detox/levis/

is a link thru which you can offer your support to GREENEACE in taming LEVI´S. Check other resorces on the subjet as well and join the cause, if you find it important. Inform your friends and invite them to join you.

Thank you, did you know most fabrics are treated with formaldehyde to keep insects from eating them? I worked in various aspects of the industry, and found it actually burns the skin and eyes when you go into some fabric shops. Formaldeahyde off gasses, leaving an accumlulation of toxics in it´s wake.

I found this, it would have been nice if they told a bit more about the issue. Most of the items in the Green Peace link are shown to be hormone disruptors. I wonder if that could have anything to do with all the gender confusion and mixing up that has been going on as of late? Male frogs have been turned into girl frogs....hmmm
