Tesco Everyday Value Spaghetti Bolognese

Some Tesco Everyday Value Spaghetti Bolognese contains 60% horsemeat, DNA tests by the retailer have found.

The meal, withdrawn from sale on Tuesday, came from the French factory producing Findus beef lasagne, also at the centre of a row over horsemeat.

Meanwhile, Environment Secretary Owen Paterson has told MPs of plans to test all processed beef in the UK.

Romania has rejected claims that it was responsible for wrongly labelling horsemeat from its abattoirs.

Tesco took the frozen bolognese off the shelves when it found out Findus was concerned about the source of its meat processed by Comigel, based at Metz, north-eastern France.

It is one of several products that have been withdrawn from UK shelves amid the current scandal over horsemeat in food products in the UK and Europe.

Demek ki; sadece Türkiye´de olmuyormuş....

Nothing is wrong with horse meat. I have never eaten it knowingly so far though. On of my cousins brings some whenever he goes to Kırghizistan and he likes to eat it.

I believe it can be eaten without any problem.

Most of urban transportation in Romania used horse carriages.

Romania wanted to become an EU member.

EU regulations did not allow use of horse carriages for urban transpoert.

Romania passed a law and made it illegal to use horse carts for transport within cities.

Horse carts disappeared from streets of Romanian cities.

Romania became an EU member.

GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TO THE POOR HORSES !   {#emotions_dlg.alcoholics}

Nothing is wrong with eating horsemeat. It is freely sold and widely eaten in many countries.

The problem starts when it is marketed as "beef".

It does happen! We eat a lot of things with no idea of what we eat actually. If it only were horse meat which wouldn´t be that harmful IMHO.
