.Sunay Akın´dan...

 Mustafa Kemal´in naaşı..
 .
Ve Atatürk İstanbul´dan ayrılıyor, Ankara´ya götürülecek.
İnsanlar üzüntülü, hüzün var her yerde..
 .
 Karaköy´en geçerken birdenbire,
 ´Çıt´ diye bir ses..
 Çıt ! Çıt ! Çıt !
 Aa !
 Gökyüzünden düğme yağdı biliyor musunuz?!!
 Düğme yağdı gökyüzünden !
 .
Atatürk´ün o bayrağa sarılı tabutuna düğme yağdı..
 Rengarenk düğmeler !
Düğme yağıyor ! Çıt ! Çıt ! Düğme yağıyor !
 .
 Herkes yukarı baktı!
 O caddedeki dükkanlardan bürolardan
Türkiye Cumhuriyeti´nin Yahudi vatandaşları var (pencerelerde)...
 .
.
 Nasıl bir görüntü,
 .
Atların çektiği top arabasında Mustafa Kemal Atatürk´ün tabutu, ve üstüne
rengarenk düğmeler yağıyor, pencerede gözyaşlı insanlar...

NOT: "GOMLEKLERIN, CEKETLERIN DUGMELERI KOPARTILARAK UGURLAMA NE DEMEKMIS ?" BILIYOR MUSUNUZ?

"BEN SENDEN SONRA EKSIGIM"  DEMEKMIS.

There was a shower of shirt, blouse and jacket buttons on Atatürk´s coffin, as it was being transported thru Istanbul streets, to be burried in Ankara.

Those who looked up, saw people with tears in their eyes, ripping their bottons off and dropping them on the coffin, from upper floors of nearby appartments.

They were the Turkish citizens of Jewish origin, who happened to occupy most of that specific area of Istanbul; all expressing their grief according to their own customs.

RIPPING YOUR BUTTONS OFF, IN THE PROCESS OF SAYING GOOD-BYE TO SOMEONE MEANS "I SHALL REMAIN INCOMPLETE AFTER YOU ARE GONE", IN jEWISH CUSTOMS.
