I have some links to simple stories, and have read the 3 on this site. I like to write down the Turkish stories, then translate the sentences I know, dating each sentence to see how much I´ve improved throughout the story. This is very effective for me, as it motivates me to learn more, and give a sense of accomplishment as I see the pieces of the story coming into place as I translate. Here are some that I know of already. Can anyone please tell me where to find more free Turkish stories? I would greatly appreciate it!

Kayıp Yüzük/Lost Ring (I suspected the Turkish wasn´t correct in this one, but I am still a beginner...)

herkesemasal.com has a wide range of stories and fairy tales. In the beginning choose classical stories which you know already, so it doesn´t matter if you miss small parts of it because you know the story anyway. For instance

The Emperor´s New Clothes (Kralın elbisesi): http://www.herkesemasal.com/herkesemasal/24075-masal-kralin_elbisesi-oku.html

The Princess and the Pea (Gerçek Prenses) http://www.herkesemasal.com/herkesemasal/24024-masal-Prenses-gercek_prenses-oku.html

Cinderella (Külkedisi): http://www.herkesemasal.com/herkesemasal/24055-masal-kul_kedisi-oku.html
