Seni bilirim = I know you

Seni biliyorum = I am knowing you

What is the difference? I know the last one means that I am currently knowing, but what is the semantic difference?

Quoting sakine

Seni biliyorum = I am knowing you

There is none. We prefer using present continous tense most of the time.
