LOC yes but could you ever imagine ABL there?

kitaptan birşeyler oku.

 

i think the general rule here:

if the information going to somewhere, to a notebook or to a text file etc., then use "-e/a"

if the information coming from somewhere, from a book or from a newspaper etc., then use "-den/dan"
