Question = On altının yarısı kaç eder?

I can see 3 different answers to this. Can you see them?

My hat off to the first non-native speaker who can come up with the 3 answers.

I appreciate it if Turkish speakers don´t spoil the fun.

I am guessing Abla was thinking similar to me

30 = 10 x 3 (10 lots of half of six)

8 = the half of 16

13 = 10 + 3 (the half of six)

but if you think outside the box that the possessive might refer to gold (altın) rather than six (altı] you also get

10

5 (10 halves of gold)

"on altı" is always 16 It doesn´t mean "10x6"

kere (time)

iki kere (two times)

birkaç kere (a few times)

on kere altı / 10 kere 6 = 10 x 6 = altmış (6

You do not want a native speaker spoil it but i think you already had your hat off so i can write

Well infact there are two correct answers to this. 5 and 8.

5: on altının yarısı kaç eder - might be thought as "what is the half of ten golds. Because on altın is in the statement and it means 10 golds.

8: it is the half of 16 as you know.

I do not know why you multiply 10 and 6. There is no meanig like that in the sentence. 10x6 means "on kere altı" or "on çarpı altı" or "Onun altı katı"

You also cannot think it like ten and six are seperate here and divide six with two than add. There is no meaning like that in the sentence. On altı is always sixteen in turkish 10+6/2 is On artı altı bölü iki. Or you can as it as Ona altının yarısını eklersen kaç eder. Etc..

Küçük kırmızı topa vurdu.

The above Turkish sentence was striped off the punctuation marks. It can have many different English equivalents (I won´t tell exactly how many but it´s more than 4).

Now provide us with an appropriate punctuation with its English translation.

Competition is open until all of them are found.

My hat is off to the non-native speaker who can provide all of them (or the last one(s) of them in case there are some already provided).

I will not intervene until I think all of them have been found.

Turkish speakers: please do not provide any translation.

Küçük, kırmızı topa vurdu - the little hit the red ball

Küçük, kırmızı topa vurdu - the little put the red (colour) on ball
