Can anyone help me with an understanding of these lines? Anything at all, please, full translation, part translation, background information, anything, please:

Bir ormanda tutup onu
Bağladılar ağaca
Yumdu sanki uyur gibi
Gözlerini usulca

Bir soğuk yel eser
Üşür ölüm bile
Anlatır akan kanı
Beyaz sesiyle

Diz çöktüler karşısına
Sonra ateş ettiler
Parçalanan yüreğine
Yuva kurdu mermiler

Bir soğuk yel eser
Üşür ölüm bile
Anlatır akan kanı
Beyaz sesiyle

Gelip kondu bir güvercin
Ellerine o gece
Kırmızı bir çelenk oldu
Bileğinde kelepçe

Bir soğuk yel eser
Üşür ölüm bile
Anlatır akan kanı
Beyaz sesiyle

Bir ormanda tutup onu
Bağladılar ağaca

One day in a forest they caught him. And they tied him to a tree. He closed his eyes slowly like he is sleeping.

Bir soğuk yel eser
Üşür ölüm bile
Anlatır akan kanı
Beyaz sesiyle

A cold wind blows. Even death chills. It tells the shed blood with its white voice.

Diz çöktüler karşısına
Sonra ateş ettiler
Parçalanan yüreğine
Yuva kurdu mermiler

They kneeled across him. Then they shot. The bullets made a home in his torned heart.

Bir soğuk yel eser
Üşür ölüm bile
Anlatır akan kanı
Beyaz sesiyle

A cold wind blows. Even death chills. It tells the shed blood with its white voice.

Gelip kondu bir güvercin
Ellerine o gece
Kırmızı bir çelenk oldu
Bileğinde kelepçe

A dove came and settled on his hands that night. His handcuffs turned into a red wreath.

Bir soğuk yel eser
Üşür ölüm bile
Anlatır akan kanı
Beyaz sesiyle

A cold wind blows. Even death chills. It tells the shed blood with its white voice.

Göküyüm -- is this song/poem just an imaginary event, or does it relate to something that actually happened? If so, what? who?

Seized in a forest

He was tied  to a tree

Slowly  closed  his eyes

As he was  sleeping

A cold breeze rushes

Even death is in chills

It speaks of the pouring  blood

 with a pale voice

Kneeled across him

Their fire bursts

Slugs find a nest

In his shattered heart

A cold breeze rushes

Even death is in chills

It speaks of the pouring  blood

 with a pale voice

Perches a dove

on his arm on  that night

Cuffs on his wrists

become a Crimson wreath

A cold breeze rushes

Even death is in chills

It speaks of the pouring  blood

 with a pale voice
