Merhaba everyone!

long story short, I am trying to win back the love of my life and she is Turkish.  Her birthday is in a few days and I want to write her a letter and include some Turkish expressions/words.  I am looking for the Turkish translation of:

"the only mirror of the self (or heart) is behaviors of one not his words"

I know this represents an actual Turkish expression/metaphor (because before writing this in English she specified that she was translating a Turkish idiom).

Is anyone familiar with this expression and can anyone assist me in this dire moment??  teşekkürler!

Yüreğin tek aynası kişinin davranışlarıdır (yaptıklarıdır), sözleri değil.
