Merhabalar! I have tried to translate a Teoman song, but I know that I am having trouble. The word "diye" especially is giving me trouble. I think it may be doing different things in different places here. Can you help me understand?

Also, I´m not sure I understand the song´s title. The song´s music is orchestral and almost like something meant for a child. LIke a fairy tale song. But the lyrics seem adult and somewhat dark. Is it a juxtaposition that is meant to be jarring, or perhaps a sort of joke? ... And can you tell me a little about Bülent Ortaçgil? He is the "Ortaçgil" being referenced here, yes? I have listened to only a few of his songs so far, but they seem very gentle, not unlike the music of this song. Is that the connection here?

Her zamanki gibi, teşekkürler!

Mavi Kuş ile Küçük Kız -- The Bluebird and the Little Girl

bulutlar iç içe ve her an başka bir resim oluyorlar -- The clouds are interconnecting, and every moment they become another picture.
başka bir adla, başka bir zamanda
rastlasaydım demiştim ya o gün sana -- If only I could have met you with another name, in another time, I had said that day.
vazgeçtim, kaçmak yok, söz bu kez -- But I changed my mind. This time a promise: There is no fleeing.
çok güzel uyuyorsun diye yanımda -- Because you are sleeping so nicely beside me,
bak, çok gevezeysem, hadi kapat çenemi -- Look, if I am too talkative, okay, shut me up.
sözcükler ne ki duygular yanında -- At your side, words are but feelings.
yoksa yarın sabah uyanıp ayılınca -- Or else tomorrow morning, upon waking and sobering up,
utanacağım şeyler söyleyebilirim şimdi -- I will be ashamed. Now I can say things.
ya da bırak hazır açmışken kapılarını -- Or leave. It´s finished. As it apparently opened your doors,
kalbime biraz daha temiz hava girsin -- Let a little more fresh air enter my heart.

yalancıyımdır biraz ama bana inan -- I am something of a liar, but believe me,

sarhoşken hep çok sahiciyim -- While drunk, I am always genuine.
yine fazla içmişim bu akşam da -- Again, this evening, I seem to have drunk too much.
coşmuş kalbim, of nal gibiyim. -- My heart seems to be overwhelmed. Oof, I am like a horseshoe.
sağır, kör, dilsiz görünür kalbim -- My heart seems to be deaf, blind and dumb.
ama bil, ben aslında iyi biriyim -- But know, I am actually someone good.
bilirim, çok kirlidir aşk sicilim -- I know, my record on love is sullied.
sadakat konusunda da pek iddialı değilim -- On the issue of fidelity, I am not very sure of myself.
ama bu kez farklı olsun diye -- But this time, let it be different,
sen denersen, ben de denerim -- Because you will try, and I will try.

pek iyi olmadı şarkı -- It was not a very good song.

en iyisi gel “Ortaçgil" dinleyelim -- The best is “Ortaçgil." Come, let´s listen.
sıcaklığını verirken sen bana -- While you give me warmth,
sızayım aniden kollarında -- Let me suddenly slip into your arms.
çok düşündüm kaçayım diye ama dedim; -- I have thought a lot, saying, "Let me flee." But I said:
ne zaman anlaşmış ki kalple beyin -- "When was there ever an agreement between heart and mind?"
ve hele ne zaman düşünsem seni -- And especially, whenever I think of you,
yaprak gibi titriyorken kalbim -- While my heart is shaking like a leaf.

what are worth words beside feelings

or you could say:

What are words worth compared with feelings?

or just,

What are words, when compared with feelings?
