Börülce
1/2 a kilo of black eyed peas.
2 onions chopped.
oil - 100 mls.
1 tablespoon of tomato puree.
boiling water.
1 litre of boiling water and stock!
Boil the water and add the peas, boil them untill the water turns black. strain.
Place the oil in the pan and fry the onions and tomato puree untill soft.
Add the peas and about 1 litre of boiling water with stock,
cover and simmer for about 25 minutes untill cooked. you may need to add more water if you wish.
Serve with pilav or bulgar and salad!
