Kolay gelsin,

I wanted to know what tenses sevdim and severdim are in.

Seni severdim: I liked you (in the past and it´s over)??

Seni severdim: I have liked you (and I still do now)??

I would greatly appreciate if someone could please explain this to me.

Teşekkur ederim

Teşekkur ederim!

Which one means: I used to like (and I still do)?

Do both seni "sevdim" and "severdim" mean that I no longer like you right now? For example, I liked you and now I don´t.

" Seni severdim" has stronger meaning of "I used to like you, but now I don´t"

It´s better to add another sentence to express the meaning of "I still like you"

none of them means that exactly. sevmek means two things in english. like, love.

First Example: you took a ride on a motorcycle with a friend of yours. after the ride your friend asks you "sevdin mi?" (you liked it?) - you answer evet sevdim! (yeah I did!)

Second Example: You´re in love with someone but he never noticed your affection for a long time but later on you recieve a few signals from him, he likes you too and you finally decide to talk. confession: "bla bla bla... seni hep sevdim ama hiç farketmedin."

so what happened here: seni, hep, sevdim. hep adds the sentence the meaning of "always" I´ve always loved you = seni hep sevdim. but this doesnt mean you dont love him anymore, you still love him.

oh but if you want to say I used to love you, now I dont. then the proper way to say it is "seni seviyordum." or "seni sevmiştim."

makes sense?
