how do you write about distances between places

for example

 

birmingham is 150 kms north of London

Your translate is; Birmingham, Londra´nın 150 KM kuzeyindedir.

 

In Turkey; in daily life in here, we are not using direction (North, south,etc...), we use the distance only, because nobody cares the direction in here. Its Turkey and Turkish, you should left the British Logic.

"Kocaeli, Istanbul arası 95 KM´dir." Distance between Kocaeli and Istanbul is 95 KMs.
