I thought  mi mu mü mı was always at the end of the sentence when you ask a question?

However I saw this exemple:

kahve mi içiyor?

Türk çay içiyor musunuz?

could you explain to me this rule, please.

merci beaucoup

It depends on the focus of the question.

Kahve içiyor musun? :

Literally: Are you drinking coffee? Usually: Would you like some coffee?

Kahve mi içiyorsun? :

Are you drinking coffee?

Teşekküker Gugukussu

Bu yüzden If I understood I use

birinci cümle : If i want to ask if someone want something.

ve üçüncü cümle: if I see someone with a cup and i want to know what he is drinking.

That right? or not...

Sorry Gugukussu, I have been learning turkish alone since 5 month and it is very difficult

fortunately there is this forum with a lot of people who take the time to teach this language. Thank you very much.

Exactly. You don´t need to be sorry and I believe you´re doing great. It´s not easy to notice such subtle differences. Keep it up

Actually I hear the question participle used more in other places than the end of a sentence.

I hope you don´t mind correcting you here. Our question particle is a very handy tool indeed.

One interesting fact about it is that we share it with Chinese (see ma below). You know we were neighbours with them in the past so our languages have something in common.
