How many accents/symbols/special letters are there in Turkish?
In the alphabet section, it shows and explains how to pronounce these:
Çç
Üü
Öö
Gg (with little hat on it)
Ii (Both I's with no dot)
Ii (Both I's with dots)
Ss (with cedille)
But, I have also seen the Y with accent, a D with a weird line across, plus the A and I with circonflexe. How do they sound? Are there any more special letters I should know about? (If ye can't type them, tell me what the accent/symbol on them looks like; I'll know because I am familiar with using codes to get letters with accents or symbols in other languages).
I am not able to type them here in the forums, but they do come out in Microsoft Word and such. So at least I'll be able to type words correctly there ^^.

Oh yeah, I did...but nothing seems changed o.O. I still don't know how to type them. BTW, I installed Turkish. It didn't say anything of "Turkish Q". It just said Turkish. My Windows is 2000, so it should have worked o.o...

To be worked, you have in the taskbar( The lower bar that has Start icon) and on the right side a small icon written in it (E) that means you are writing in English language. Click this icon and you will have choices between the languages of keyboard that you installed, choose the Turkish language and the you can write in turkish.
I hope that you understand what I tried to say.

Double click on any word on this post and a dictionary will open. There you will see these characters:
ı - ş - ğ - ç - ö - ü
The y and A things you mentioned (Ÿ, Å) are not Turkish characters at all. This is just a glitch. Unfortunately our chat doesnt support Turkish characters yet. So you might have seen the glitches there.
