* muhtemelen olasılıkla belki galiba herhalde *

These are translations given for ´probably´. Perhaps there are more.

What are the subtle differences between them?

I googled but didn´t spot the answer.

Thank you very much!

Here are some notes regarding the last 3 modal adverbs you listed.

The speaker indicates how confident they are in the truth of a statement, from ´really´ at one end to ´perhaps´ at the lower end.

gerçekten: really, truly

mutlaka/kesinlikle: definitely certainly

herhalde: probably, presumably, I expect

Herhalde senden yardım isteyecekler

(They´re probably going to ask you for help)

galiba/sanırım: I think (If I´m not mistaken)

Kimse evde yok galiba.

(There doesn´t seem to be anyone at home)

belki: perhaps, maybe

Thank you very much Henry for your detailed reply, I´ve put it in my notes!

I wonder if there´s anyone who could say a little about the nuances of ´muhtemelen´ and ´olasılıkla´

Cheers!

David
